The fusing sections in color laser printers run hotter than the
fusing sections in color laser copiers. Color laser printers require
a special heat transfer paper to minimize problems associated with
transfer coating softening in the fuser section of these machines.
Printing to a color laser printer is generally quicker than most
ink-jet printers. Additionally these machines cost less than color
laser copiers and image washability is usually better than transfers
produced with ink-jet printers.
