IMPORTANT NOTE: COLOR LASER PRINTERS AND COLOR LASER COPIERS ARE NOT THE SAME!

Color Laser Copiers (CLC’s) are generally low fusing temperature color laser copiers, large units usually found in copy shops, that use a fuser oil. Color Laser Printers (CLP’s) are color laser printers with high fusing temperatures that do not use a fuser oil and run a larger # of copies per minute in color. These will generally be desk top models found in offices and newer color laser copiers coming on the market that do not use a fuser oil. These two types of machines require different papers. If you are not sure which paper you need, feel free to give us a call at 1-800-658-2027 and we will help you select the proper paper for your machine. In other words, if you run a low fusing temperature paper thru a high temperature fusing machine you will melt it to the rollers. We are providing this information to help you better understand the machines you are working with so that when you run your transfer paper the first time you will be a happy customer!
